Living Waters Foursquare Church is located in Medford, a city of 75,000 in the center of the Rogue Valley. Ringed by the beautiful Cascade Mountains and Siskyou summit, Medford is a great mix of urban and outdoors. During the winter months, we are 20 minutes from the base of Mt. Ashland for great skiing, and in the spring and summer we are surrounded by lakes and rivers for hiking and camping!
Living Waters is a Spirit filled, presence driven church that desires to see His glory continue to fall on southern Oregon and Northern California, that His Kingdom will be made manifest in our region, through us, around us, and sometimes in spite of us. 2008 is a year of acceleration for our church, as we are launched forward into the deeper things of Christ, and see and accelerated move of His Spirit in our midst and in our city. Living Waters is not a church that is contained or confined by walls and weekly services, we are a group of people who desire to see Christ move in our homes, workplaces and city, until all have seen, until all know, that God is real, and He is good! If God leads you to join us here in Medford, you will have many opportunities to be involved with ministry here at Living Waters, but you will also be challenged to step into our city and reach the lost. We will be partnering with other ministries and groups around the city to see people healed, gifts released and lives given fully to Christ.
Specific areas of emphasis:
Anthem at Living Waters in Medford emphasizes students following Christ with a passion for purity who are filled with His presence, and hungry to see His glory and Kingdom come. Everything else is secondary to that. We feel strongly that we are unique in our ability to take God very seriously while never taking ourselves too seriously. Please come and join us if this matches with your heart!! Please do not come if you are looking for regiment, routine and perfect balance. Please do not come if you need someone to coax you to follow Christ whole heartedly. Flexible is an important word around here! We do have theology and Bible classes, along with classes and prayer ministry that deal with deep inner healing for each of our students, and classes that emphasize and teach how to release and operate in the spiritual gifts. Our first year students do two month rotations in each of the following areas of ministry: Youth, Children’s, Outreach and Worship/Media. We begin and end our school year with outreach trips. This coming school year we will be going to Compostella, Mexico in October and then as a team we will decide where we feel called to go in May.
