About

ELN is a network of transformational schools of ministry for college age students. Each ELN program is based in a Foursquare church and utilizes a model of full-time, immersive training, designed to take passionate young leaders and help them become skilled and empowered disciples, ready to transform the world with Jesus’ love.

In an ELN school of ministry, students are engaged in 24-7 “immersion discipleship.” The military uses immersive training as well — it’s called boot camp — and it’s how they make soldiers out of civilians in a short, intense period of time. It’s also how Jesus prepared his disciples, taking a group of ordinary guys and developing them into world changers.

Head, Hands & Heart

Immersion discipleship impacts every area of a student’s life: head, hands and heart.

Head Hands & Heart

1. Head

Engaging in an intentional and well developed curriculum is an important part of every ELN program. Students grow in deep ways as they are equipped to understand God’s Word and who they are in Christ.

2. Hands

ELN programs utilize an in-the-trenches approach to developing ministry skills. Students don’t just learn “about” ministry, but are trusted to step out and “do” ministry. They are given the opportunity to discover the beauty and power of trusting in God while authentically giving themselves for others.

3. Heart

Who you are is more important than how much you know and what you can do. Because of this reality, trusted pastors and leaders build relationship with ELN students, encouraging them and challenging them as they move to new levels of faith and personal development. It is through this critical “heart” piece of immersion discipleship that students form the rock-sold foundation needed to live out God’s call in their lives.
